Romantica Beach – Torchio and Porto Torchio

This is the longest and best-known beach in Manerba, continuing all the way to San Felice. Well-exposed to the east, it is sunny all day. Discover the Winds of Garda.

Paceful and ideal for families, it is possible to rent equipment such as umbrellas and loungers. Nearby is the “Spiaggia Florida” Dog Beach, where your pooch can be let off the leash to swim in the lake. Along the Romantica Beach there are numerous bars and restaurants. Bicycles are not allowed along the lakefront, nor is it possible to fish.

Paid parking is available on Via Belvedere and Via del Rio (Porto Torchio)

In high season, it is best to arrive early to find a spot.

The main access is from Via Belvedere (Porto Torchio), Via Repubblica and Via Giuseppe Verdi (Pieve Vecchia).

Dog Beach

FidoBeach: a dog beach accessible from Via Repubblica.
According to Ordinance no. 49/2015:

No more than 20 dogs are permitted on the beach at a time;
It is forbidden to bring aggressive dogs or dogs on heat;
Any excrement must be immediately removed by the dog owner;
Dogs must never be left unattended;
It is forbidden to allow animals to cross the confines of the beach area in question and the lake in front;
Access to the well-equipped beach is allowed every day from 1ˢᵗ April to 30ᵗʰ September of each year, from 8:00 am to noon and from noon to 7:00 pm;
Animals are allowed to swim in the stretch of lake along the beach in question only during the times when dogs are allowed on the beach.

The serviced beaches in the localities are Romantica, Florida and Porto Torchio
Fishing is prohibited on the beach from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm during the bathing season. It is always prohibited in the Rocca di Manerba Nature Reserve and in the Lake Park area. In ports and on the docks, fishing is only permitted out of season or with special authorisation
Dogs must be kept on a leash in public areas, including beaches
For large or aggressive dogs, a muzzle is mandatory. From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, dogs are not allowed on the municipal beaches nor in the lake, without prejudice to the possibility of walking them along the lake promenade extending from Porto Torchio to the Romantica Beach
From 7:00 pm to 9:00 am, dogs are allowed on the beach and in the lake, so long as they are supervised
Keep the beach clean – respect the environment by using the rubbish bins
