San Biagio Island, also known as “Isola dei Conigli” (“Island of Rabbits”) due to the historical presence of rabbits and hares in the 16ᵗʰ century, is a private island and a green pearl nestled in Lake Garda. Surrounded by a rocky seabed that rapidly descends into deep water, the island is a natural extension of the peninsula on which the campsite of the same name stands.
The green of the meadows and the shade of the trees, combined with the fresh pure blue of the water, give an atmosphere of utter relaxation. The breathtaking panoramas offer a 360° view of the lake, rendering this destination one of the most appreciated by tourists. Today, it is part of the Rocca and Sasso Nature Reserve and Lake Park, an unmissable natural and historical attraction.
Paid parking is available on Via Belvedere and Via del Rio (Porto Torchio).
In high season, it is best to arrive early to find a spot.
