A Special Evening to Celebrate One of Manerba’s Greatest Pride and Joys

On Thursday, 28 May, from 7:30 pm in Piazza Aldo Moro, the Municipality of Manerba del Garda warmly invites all residents and visitors to attend the ceremony awarding Honorary Citizenship to Olympic skier Giovanni Franzoni.

This will be a meaningful and memorable occasion for Manerba del Garda, dedicated to a young athlete who, through commitment, talent, and determination, has proudly brought the name of our town to the international sporting stage.

Starting from 7:30 pm, the evening will feature music and entertainment with a DJ set, as well as a food and refreshment area at the parish centre.

From 8:30 pm, the Honorary Citizenship ceremony will be streamed live on a giant screen.

Following the ceremony, from 9:00 pm, Giovanni Franzoni will greet the public, accompanied by a special presentation showcasing some of his greatest victories and sporting achievements.

We look forward to welcoming you for an evening filled with pride and celebration.

In case of rain, the event will take place at the Sports Hall.
