Balbiana

A little gem nestled between the hills and the lake, Balbiana is the small and picturesque hamlet of Manerba, perfect for those seeking authenticity, tranquillity and a taste of local history. The heart of the village is dominated by the Church of Santa Lucia, characterised by a simple gabled façade and interiors that preserve frescoes dating from the 15ᵗʰ and 16ᵗʰ centuries, mainly depicting the Madonna Enthroned with Child.

If you are a lover of the outdoors and walks, the nature trails that cross the surrounding countryside in Balbiana offer a genuine experience of peace and authentic beauty.  In the quaint village of Balbiana, a splendid viewpoint awaits you, right where there is also an important architectural feature: the Ancient Arch of Balbiana on Via Guglielmo Marconi.

You’ll also find a coffee shop and restaurant where you can enjoy local cuisine in a traditional setting. For your stay, there are accommodation facilities offering comfort and hospitality typical of the region.
